The 5 Facts of Salvation

1. You need to be saved, "For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God” Rom. 3:23   “No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." John 3:3

2. You cannot save yourself. "Not by righteous things we have done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth & renewal by the Holy Spirit."  Titus 3:5

3. Jesus has provided for your salvation.  "He himself (Jesus) bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins & live for righteousness, by His wounds you have been healed." I Peter 2:24;   "For God so loved the world that He gave His one & only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

4. You must accept Jesus for salvation. "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12   "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord & believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe & are justified, & it is with your mouth that you confess & are saved."   Romans 10: 9-10.

5. Now is the time to accept Jesus as Savior.  "I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation." II Cor. 6:2

God has done His part to give us eternal life ... You must do your part, so you will possess it
